We loved having the International Pageants Team and current royalty in-store this past weekend with Ashley Rene's for our International Pageants Trunk Show! Current royalty utilized their time with the Ashley Rene's Team to choose their crowning gowns as well as other fabulous pieces to wear during their farewell week from rehearsal pieces to gala gowns!
Many International contestants made the trip to Granger, Indiana to work with the Ashley Rene's Team to find their fabulous International Wardrobe, meet the International Director, Miss Mary Richardson, and shoot their headshots with Matty Jacobsen & Constantine James of Magic Dreams Productions.

Our annual Prom photoshoot to showcase this seasons hottest trends has been shot and ready to hit the press! We wanted to share the BTS of shooting with Meagan Gilbert Photography in Granger, Indiana! We had five wonderful ladies travel to Granger, Indiana to be a part of this shoot and had the best time! Hair and Make-up was done by Ashley Urban Artistry and the girls looked fabulous! Designs by Sherri Hill, ASHLEYlauren, Ellie Wilde, Johnathan Kayne and even some one-of-a-kind and exclusive pieces made just for Ashley Rene's were modeled. This years Gala was in honor and themed from fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld and his iconic looks and the celebrities arrived in style! We could definitely see the influence of Lagerfelds time with Chanel in looks from Gala Co-Chari Dua Lips in Chanel and Keke Palmer in Sergio Hudson. A few cape looks made an appearance on the carpet as well to honor Lagerfeld's long-time friend and late Vogue editor André Leon Talley. These looks were most notably worn by Kylie Jenner, Halle Bailey and Kerry Washington. Every year, we always have a few outlandish looks (usually from Jared Leto), but one that we are here for is Doja Cats purrific look by Oscar De La Renta!

Ashley Rene's is proud to have dressed Faron Medhi for the Miss Teen USA stage in Reno-Tahoe, Nevada for the Miss Teen USA 2022 Pageant. Faron came to Ashley Rene's to shop for her National winning gown and tried on many different colors and styles, but wanted to stay true to herself. Something about a black gown spoke to her and how she wanted to portray herself on the big stage. She decided that she wanted to customize a Jovani Couture gown with a beautiful velvet bodice encrusted in golden tones of Swarovski artwork - the colors complimented her so beautifully as she graced the Miss Teen USA stage. Faron winning in a black gown as a Teen contestant is the perfect example of going with your gut and how you want to be seen no matter what the norm is!
We are so proud of Faron as she chose to be authentically herself!

Miss Nevada USA, Victoria Olona, chose a modern princess-style ballgown with a metallic skirt and fully beaded bodice and off the shoulder straps! You'd never believe us when we say the gown had to have weighed more than 15 pounds because Victoria just floated on stage! Victoria's gown was voted one of the Top 17 evening gowns at Miss USA by Insider.com!
From the moment she was crowned Miss Utah USA, Rachel Slawson, knew she wanted to make a statement and be different with her wardrobe choices. We discussed many options and she decided she felt most confident being the first ever contestant to wear a pantsuit on the Miss USA stage during the evening gown competion! Rachel wore a gold liquid bead two-piece pantsuit and it could not have shined more! We loved her bravery and how much she embraced being different than the other contestants. Her pantsuit was voted one of the Top 17 looks at Miss USA by Insider.com!

The coronavirus pandemic has postponed a lot of things, including prom. But that hasn’t stopped Ashley Rene’s Prom and Pageant from doing everything they can to help high schoolers and the community.
In the midst of a national crisis and wanting to continue to give back to our community, we rallied with stores across the nation to discuss how we can make a difference. Together, we were able to find a solution to help the national mask shortage.
We recently learned that our garment bags are made of the same protective fabric that can be used to make masks for healthcare workers and the immunocompromised. Community members, other local businesses, including the Pink Pineapple Boutique, & our amazing Ashley Rene’s clients have teamed up with us and we are so excited to say we’ve donated enough fabric to make nearly 7,000 masks! We've been able to not only help those within our community, but our clients across the entire country stepped up and have began making masks and filters out of our garment bags for those in their community, too!

Placing #7 in the Best Teen Evening Gowns of 2019 is IJM International Teen 2019, Rachael Evren! Rachael was formerly the Miss Australia IJM Teen when she reached out to find her perfect evening gown for IJM Internationals. She chose a stunning aqua blue, strapless Sherri Hill Couture ballgown that has a fully beaded bodice and a dramatic organza skirt.
We finished the look with matching Stefanie Somers earrings!
Coming in at #10 for The Best Miss Evening Gowns of 2019 is Miss Nevada USA, Tianna Tuamoheloa! Tianna wore a custom Sherri Hill Couture gown on the Miss USA stage this past year. Tianna's gown was a white taffeta ballgown with a fully crystal beaded one-shoulder top and bodysuit. It also had a high side slit to showcase the body suit underneath. This look was unique and a complete standout on stage! Tianna placed in the Top 5 at Miss USA and as her evening gown sponsor, we are SO proud!
Placing #5 in the Top 10 for The Best Miss Evening Gowns of 2019 is Miss Utah USA, Amanda Giroux! It's no surpise Amanda placed in the Top 10 with this one-of-a-kind Sherri Hill Couture dress! This gown was a fitted siloutette made with a heavy jersey material that could be worn with or without the separate one-shoulder fully beaded accent piece that had Swarovski Crystals dripping from the arm to the stage... talk about amazing! We are a proud evening gown sponsor for Miss Utah USA and
it was such an honor working with Amanda!

Camille won the title of Miss America on December 19th, 2019 at the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort in Connecticut.
Earlier this summer Camille flew from Virginia to Indiana to have the Ashley Rene's shopping experience! Previously, Camille won Miss Virginia wearing a beautiful long-sleeve Sherri Hill Couture gown from Ashley Rene's. As the Official Wardrobe Sponsor for Miss Virginia we were thrilled to have the opportunity to further work with Camille to find her perfect Miss America Wardrobe!
Camille spent the weekend with us shopping for everything from appearance wear, other competition and visitation dresses to her winning Sherri Hill Couture Evening Gown!
Camille chose a stunning, rich navy blue velvet gown. It was a mermaid fit & flare style with a one-shoulder bodice. The top of the shoulder and back straps had beautiful Swarovski crystal embellishments to which we had custom Stefanie Somers earrings made to match to complete her winning look!

#TEAMfabulous had a blast in sunny California at #NAMNationals19! We met so many incredible titleholders, dressed national judges and celebrated at the NAM Pajama Jam!
The Ashley Rene’s x ASHLEYlauren Trunk Show was epic! From custom couture gowns, interview tweeds to fun and flirty cocktail dresses and killer runway outfits, #TEAMfabulous was so proud to be a National Sponsor for the National American Miss Organization! Sarah Rose Summers, Miss USA, and Hailey Colborn, Miss Teen USA, looked absolutely killer for the Thanksgiving Banquet.
Sarah Rose is wearing Style 1779! This one shoulder velvet fit and flare gown is so sophisticated but we always add a bit of fun with a full bubble hem. Hailey is wearing Style 1776! Another one shoulder look however this jumpsuit is accented with a bold ruffle!
Nia Sanchez, Miss USA, looked fabulous in Style 4122 for the final night of competitions! Being fully beaded, you are sure to sparkle all night long!
Sarah Cooper, National All-American Miss, looks iconic in Style 1749! This pleated tulle tiered ball gown in sky/aqua will leave everyone speechless! We are always bringing the drama!
The fabulous Joy Soprano, official Emcee for National American Miss looked dynamite in Style 1588! This off the shoulder velvet gown with a satin over skirt is simple yet effective in creating a grand and dramatic entrance!
The Official Opening Number Dresses were custom designed by #ASHLEYlauren and provided by Ashley Rene’s! The incredible NAM National Finalists rocked these adorable rose gold dresses on stage and looked #TEAMfabulous!
We are so excited to announce the Senior Face of Ashley Rene’s, Ava Ernst! Ava killed it on the runway in a full fringe beaded cocktail dress in ice blue! Ava will be headed to Atlanta this summer to model for ASHLEYlauren during World of Prom! We are so excited to have her join #TEAMfabulous!

Sherri Hill Couture Trunk Show at Ashley Rene's May 17th-19th, 2019
Ashley Rene's is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Sherri Hill Couture Trunk Show May 17th-19th in Granger, Indiana. The prom and pageant industry’s top designer, Sherri Hill, will be sending us her top pieces from her latest Spring/Fall 2019 Couture collection as recently seen on the New York Fashion Week runway. We will be taking one-on-one appointments during this time; you will have the opportunity to work with our owner, Ashley, who has had over 15 years of pageant experience to create the gown or wardrobe of your dreams! Appointments will be limited and will fill quickly. Couture gowns will begin around $2,500 and go up from there depending on the design and customizations. If you’re shopping for Fall pageants such as Miss Indiana USA and National American Miss, then this is the best time to shop for your wardrobe as there will be plenty of time to order!

Ashley Rene’s to Relocate and Expand to New Storefronts in Granger
Ashley Rene’s is relocating to two locations in Heritage Square in Granger starting January 12, 2019:
Ashley Rene’s Prom and Pageant and Ashley Rene’s Couture!
Owner Ashley Rene Swathwood says she is excited to offer the Michiana area a bigger and better experience with Ashley Rene’s.
“This move to an outdoor, high-end shopping area has been my ultimate dream,” Swathwood said.
“With two storefronts, we’ll be able to offer twice as many dressing rooms, a wider selection of designers and price points along with a designated space for custom and couture lines.”
Swathwood said that with the move, Ashley Rene’s will be hiring twice as many part-time and full-time employees and will be providing internships for young people in the area who are interested in a career in fashion, business, or entrepreneurship.
Customers can look forward to the distinct storefronts. Ashley Rene’s Prom and Pageant will still feature cocktail dresses and gowns for special occasions, pageants, and prom. Ashley Rene’s Couture will offer customers designer, couture gowns for everything from pageants to galas to VIP events – the first storefront of its kind in the area.
Ashley Rene's has worked hard to bring a wider array of price points and designers so that everyone, no matter their budget, can have the Ashley Rene’s experience.
